Why were my friends surprised?

A lot of my friends (guys) all think of me as the nerdy nerdy kid. I'm not bad looking but im not good looking. i workout too sometimes... but they always used to tease me about how much of a p*ssy i am... but when they saw my blonde girlfriend (dont mean to brag) and how hot she is, they were all surprised... wtf?
