Hey religious persons!! What do you think of this quote??

I appreciate the overall point of the statement. I'm a Christian, and strongly support scientific exploration. To me, scientific research helps us understand the world around us, and as such, should definitely be encouraged, rather than hindered. It bothers me to see religion used as an excuse to deter scientific advancement.
