It does matter if he is gay, because if so, his voice will be so powerful as to resonate within the whole athletic world and beyond. His "coming out" will be a rousing affirmation that "gays are everywhere"---neighbors, co-workers, cousins, friends. He so easily makes for good press-- and he's cute. Ryan--or agents-- if you're reading this,and you're gay, please come out; we need you in the never-ending battle for GLBT rights.
