The Iliad in simple terms?
Well, for a Greek school project, I had to translate it from Greek to English. It is about the war of the Greeks (Achaeans) against the Trojans. The head of the Greeks Agamemnon stole a woman from another great Greek warrior Achilles, and Achilles gets really angry. So Achilles stops fighting, and the Greeks begin to lose. AS all Greek myths go, the gods interfere with both sides. Achilles' friend Patroclus decides to go into battle with Achilles' armor to scare the Trojans, but he gets killed. Achilles is so angry, that he begins to fight again, and he kills Hector, the leader of the Trojans. Then the Greeks go in with the Trojan horse and demolish their city.
