Cote Saint Luc, in Montreal QC as a neighborhood - thoughts?

My husband and I have almost procured an apartment in Cote St. Luc, and we're moving in August...does anyone who lives in or around Cote St. Luc have any thoughts they could share about the neighborhood - we're pretty excited about our new space, and are eager to get out into the neighborhood...really, any information is appreciated, as we will be new residents of Montreal...thanks!
