Caught on Camera Shoplifting and they filed a police report?

Ok well we were at Hastings and we gave my son a golf frisby thing to hold because it was colorful. Well he didn't want it, and dropped it into the cart. We put the diaper bag in there and forgot about it. Well I thought that I can try to return it for store credit once i found out. And they reported the item as never sold. So I they gave it back to me, and I went back like a day or two and the lady confronted me and told me I'm not welcome here and that she went back on the camera's and saw we gave it to our son and she filed a police report. They will have her name because we have an account there to rent movies. What happens now? And yes I know everything would have been fine if i didn't try and return it but I did. I ****** up and I don't want anything to happen.
