Can you give me any advice on this please?

I am a Freshman in High School, I never was good at math until 7th grade where i did exceedingly well. So my teacher let me skip through pre algebra and go straight to Algebra as an 8th grader, (above average recommendation for my state and everything). Now I am in Geometry as a Freshman in HS, I got a C last semester and a doing poorly so far during this one. I believe that I have ADHD but my dr hasn't given me any meds for it yet because i have to take a test by a psychiatrist about it. I got A's through Algebra and an A on the final, I feel that i would be letting all of that effort go from Algebra if I retook it for the rest of this semester which is one of my choices, my other choice is to get a tutor and work every day with them, what would you suggest and has anyone ever been in this situation? I am very emtoional I'm crying because I just feel soo dumb and like I wasted my life since Ididn'tt do my hw lastsemesterr since I had a bf and he was my number 1 priority which I see now was a very shallow, and stupiddecisionn.
